We left the Maritime Inn and headed west toward New Brunswick. If I had
it to do again I would stay in Nova Scotia and catch the ferry back to
Maine like Jeff did, but live an learn. We made great time along the
Tranas-Canada hiway so we had time to zipp north and get a look at the
13km (8 mi) bridge that connect New Brunswick to Prince Edward Island,
another province.
A sign had announced the tool for the bridge at $39, dulling our
interesting in crossing but some friendly bikers we talked to told us
it was free to cross north and only $15 for bikes coming south. we
headed out for P.E.I. The north side of the bridge afforded a more
picturesque shot as you can see in the next to last pic above.
The Abby III looking like the love boat above is an old schoolhouse
converted to a museum and pub. Prince Edward Island and Novs Scotia had the most beautiful blue sky
I have ever seen.
